The last couple of years, my life has gone through some changes and my priorities have shifted. I value time more now than I ever have before. Maybe it’s my kids getting older? But I’ve realized that everything else comes and goes, but something we’ll never get back is time. That’s when I got interested in more studio work.
If you’ve been following me at all you’re probably thinking I dislike outdoor photos but that’s not the case at all. I’ve very blessed to live in Utah which is a beautiful state to live in. I prefer to do photos in the studio but outdoor sessions will always have a special place in my heart and I will still do them when requested.
After years of trial and error, countless hours of education I’ve finally found a lighting set up that works for me. Because of this, my clients know exactly what to expect and it’s consistent. This is something I’m so proud of because for a while I struggled with consistency.
My favorite part! Working from the studio has allowed me to really focus on the client experience. When my clients come in, they know what to expect and they know how their images will turn out.
My business will always be evolving but I love know that I can really focus on my client in the studio because I’ve eliminated most of the unknown variables like weather and lighting.
