These Lavender Fields are located in Mona, Utah- 3700 North Highway 91, Mona, UT 84645. If you’re in Salt Lake or Northern Utah, it is a bit of a drive but if you’re in Utah County then it won’t be too bad! You’ll pass their event center and then the fields are on your left. This cute family booked their session when I offered mini sessions there and their Utah Lavender Field Family Session turned out adorable.
If you know you want photos done at the Lavender Field, you’ll want to reach sooner rather than later. To do a session there, we have to reserve a spot and pay the fee they’re charging that year so it’s important to know ahead of time to get a slot as soon as they become available. I was there this year and it ended up being incredibly muddy, they had just been watered so my recommendations is to pack shoes you don’t mind getting muddy and changing shoes when we start taking photos.
Because the light changes so much and is absolutely gorgeous the entire time, you’ll want to plan for a minimum of one hour up to an hour and a half. I recommend packing snacks that won’t be too messy for the drive there, and sandwiches or something simple like that as a possible late dinner if anyone is hungry, some fruit and lots of water.
It changes but most recently the fee was $75, you won’t need to worry about this as it will be covered in your pricing for the session.
Like any other session, my advice is to just let it go. These session in particular are done later in the day and usually at bed time or well past bed time. So we have to remember that the littles may be a tad bit cranky. Do that and we’ll and have a great time!
I hope I answered your questions but if I didn’t, feel free to reach out! I’d love to meet you and work with you, to contact me for a session, you can click here.
