I’m back with another great list and this time it’s about July activities in Salt Lake City. Usually around this time things are getting a little more toasty so I’ve got some great suggestions if you want to escape the heat.
This is something new to me this year and I’m thinking I might check out this year! Once July hits, it gets incredibly hot so sneaking out to the mountains is always a great idea. Bright Ski resort will have a breakfast parade on July 4th and you can find more information here.
While not as scheduled out as other events, if you’re in the Magna or West Valley area this would be a great activity to do with the family without having to drive too far. You can find more about Magna 4th of July here.
Brighton days is a two day event, July 13th to July 14th. They’ll have hikes, history lessons, and arts and crafts! Kind of like a summer camp vibe. While it is Brighton days, it will be hosted at Solitude Ski Resort. You can find more information here.
As the month before, we have another “days” call out. Draper days this year is going to be July 11th to July 20th and will have all the similar things as the month before. You’ve got your pick of a rodeo, 5k, farmers market, performances and a lot more. You can find more information and the schedule here.
Western Stampede is in West Jordan and goes from July 4th to July 6th. Your typical carnival, food trucks, spikeball tournament, bingo and lots more! You can find more information here. They will also be having a rodeo, demolition derby and monster truck rally- you can find information on tickets here.
Another awesome event for kids if you’re more on the west side in Herriman! From June 15th to June 22nd, you can go to the carnival, run a 5k or finish the weekend with fireworks. Click here for more information.
