Things to do in Salt Lake City with kids

This weekends was busy and full of activities! My boys both had a soccer games on Saturday and on Sunday I checked out Oktoberfest up Little Cottonwood Canyon. Oktoberfest is a great activity to do as a family especially this time of year. You get to see the gorgeous colors and nothing beats being in the mountains.

As a Salt Lake City Family Photographer, I get to photograph gorgeous families in the mountains but it’s always nice to go up for fun and just take in mother nature.

Family Friendly Activity

It’s a fun thing to do on a weekend just to get out, get some fresh air, enjoy the amazing views see the gorgeous colors. They have plenty of family-friendly activities, food, and, brew options for the adults.

Plan ahead for parking

You can try parking on the street or pay $10 to get a spot in the parking lot. They also have valet for $30. The day I went was a fairly warm day but I would recommend checking the weather since it’s always a lot color in the mountains.
